Information on waste electrical equipment and batteries
The BIBO Pulmifier® is an electrical device. The controller contains a permanently installed lithium-ion battery. To ensure that devices and batteries are recycled in an environmentally sound manner, we inform you here about your obligations and options for returning them.
1. Waste electrical and electronic equipment
Separate collection
Waste electrical and electronic equipment does not belong in household waste. As the owner of a waste device, you are obliged to collect it separately from unsorted municipal waste.
Symbol of the crossed-out wheeled bin

This symbol on the device or its packaging means that the device must be disposed of separately from household waste at the end of its service life.
Waste batteries and rechargeable batteries
Waste batteries and rechargeable batteries that are not enclosed by the waste device, as well as lamps that can be removed without destruction, must be separated from the waste device before it is handed in at a collection point. In the BIBO Pulmifier®, the rechargeable battery is permanently installed in the controller. Please do not remove it yourself; return the controller as a whole.

Personal data
The BIBO Pulmifier® does not store any personal data. As a general rule: you as the end user are responsible for deleting personal data on waste devices.
Contribution to environmental protection
Separate collection enables the reuse and recycling of valuable raw materials and prevents pollutants from entering the environment.
2. Batteries and rechargeable batteries
Obligation to return
As the end user, you are legally obliged to return waste batteries and rechargeable batteries. They must not be disposed of in household waste.
Free return
Customers in Germany and the EU can return waste batteries free of charge at municipal collection points, in retail stores or to us (address in Grossostheim, see above). Customers in Switzerland and Liechtenstein can return waste batteries free of charge at any retailer selling batteries, at the official collection points (INOBAT) or to us (address in Schwerzenbach, see above). Please tape the terminals of lithium-containing batteries before returning them.
Meaning of the symbols

The crossed-out wheeled bin means that batteries do not belong in household waste. If Pb, Cd or Hg appears beneath it, the battery contains more than the permitted amount of lead (Pb), cadmium (Cd) or mercury (Hg).
